To all our riders & followers, we hope you have enjoyed this years rides. We have completed the majority of our planned rides even with the weather not being great for us, but most Sunday's we got out & did on average 35 miles.
Alan & I will be putting together the calender for 2013 rides over the next week, so please let us have your suggestions & comments so we can get your favourites included.
As you all know we now have transport sorted for taking upto 12 riders & bikes to the more distant routes. We will try our best to make the costs for our members as low as possible & will be looking at new ways to fund our trips.
So far we have the following rides planned but no dates yet
1) Glasson Dock - Lancaster & Morecambe - 35 Miles
2) Ladybower - Peak District - 30 Miles
3) Hunts Cross to Delamere Forest - 40 Miles
4) Liverpool to Southport - 40 Miles
5) Wirral Circular (Parkgate) - 50 Miles
6) Chester to Liverpool - 35 Miles
7) Berwick On Tweed - Northumberland - 80 Miles *
8) Anglesey Circular - 60 Miles *
9) Ruthin - North Wales Tour - 80 Miles *
10) Sankey Valley - 40 Miles
11) Kirkby to Wigan - Circular - 40 Miles
12) Liverpool to Hightown - 25 Miles
Rides marked * are overnight stays. All others are day rides
If you want to add or change or comment on the planned rides please email us, we hope to start our ride calendar on Sunday 30, Dec 2012, with the Liverpool to Hightown ride, meeting at 10:30am Pier Head. We do hope you all try to make it for this ride, we will stop for lunch in the Hightown hotel & get your thoughts for this years rides. We plan to widen the ride circle next year & use our transport to offer different rides.
